#5 Golden Knights owner shuts down trade rumors
Believe it or not, some sports analysts were predicting that the Las Vegas Aces were willing to part with their leading scorer, Max Pacioretty, to really make a run at the Stanley Cup this season. While the rumor didn’t mention Pacioretty specifically, it claimed that every single member of the roster was on the trading block if it meant a trade that got them closer to a title.
“We’re not shopping Patches," Las Vegas Golden Knights owner Bill Foley said when asked about a possible Pacioretty trade. "We do have cap issues, and so some of those things have to be resolved as we go forward, we started getting into the season. But he definitely is not being shopped."
